Illustration: The Lemonade Stand
I've always loved drawing but rarely have to chance to. "I have no table space" or "I don't have my drawing supplies with me here" are usually the excuse. When I got to try out the Apple Pencil last year, I knew it was a game changer. Unlimited undo's and canvases and every single pen/pencil/paintbrush/color you can think of right at your fingertips...oh the possibilities. Plus digital artwork can be so easily pulled into editing/design programs and published online—amazing!
Recently I had the chance to create an illustration for e-commerce fashion company Louise and Eleanor. We wanted to visually demonstrate the "Giving Back" section of the website, showing that all profits from certain purchases are donated to partner charities. Louise and Eleanor's symbol is a cute yellow lemon, and I thought I'd expand on that concept and create a lemon world for the stylish and purse-loving Louise and Eleanor girl.
I had a lot of fun working on this illustration. At the end of it all, I found out Procreate has a timelapse feature! Below is my process video:
Hope you enjoyed! Lots more illustrations to come :)
