Muir Woods

Sword ferns, mosses, and redwood sorrel blanket the forest floor. The forest is dense but when pockets of sunshine burst through the canopies, the view is magic.

Anica—Dancer Shoot at Coney Island

Inspired by Herb Ritts, I went to Coney Island with model and dancer Anica, and played around with chiffon, the sand, and the water.

On Models

I love the idea of models at the beach. The combination is just so iconic, and reminiscent of the black and white images of supermodels from the past (Elle MacPherson, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington) by Herb Ritts and Peter Lindbergh. It was so natural, simple, unretouched, and beautiful.
