Brand Design: The Vagina Monologues

The Vagina Monologues is an annual production of Eve Ensler's episodic play about female empowerment, sexuality, and life as a woman.  To publicize the show around Cal Poly and the San Luis Obispo community, I was commissioned by the Gender Equity Center to design posters and memorabilia for both English and Spanish productions. 

Ever since watching my first Vagina Monologues last year, I knew it was more than just a show. It was a declaration of unity among women. The Monologues vary from light-hearted acts to serious topics, and getting to hear the stories of women around the world provides insight into the discrimination and violence women still face to this day. Getting to attend and be a part of this powerful production with the Gender Equity Center is so humbling.

A huge round of applause to the cast and crew. The show was amazing. I expected nothing less :)
