A Fruitful Christmas

This year we had a long and bountiful harvest season, starting with loquats in May to jujubes in September to tangerines in December. Being the child of immigrants parents means one of my love languages is fruit. And what better way to show love that to grow fruit, pick fruit, and cut fruit?

In November, during a brief visit home, I proposed we take our family Christmas card photo under one of our trees. Here’s an outtake. Are pomegranates not the most perfect ornaments?

Merry Christmas, from my family to yours!
