Burlingame Wedding: Lexus + Matt
It’s wedding season again! After a year of pandemic uncertainty and rescheduling, my friend Lexus finally got married in front of family and friends at the most picturesque golf course in Burlingame. And I got to be there to witness and capture the action.
The day starts by the San Francisco Airport waterfront, at the Embassy Suites hotel…
I love love. I love storytelling. I love photojournalism, editorial, portrait, and fine art photography. A wedding is all that and more. Not only do you get to witness so much joy and happiness, these are memories of a lifetime the couple will share with their kids and grandkids. Intimate moments like the first look are pure magic and move me to the verge of tears. I’m so honored to be a part of them.
As a photographer, weddings are the ultimate challenge. Fast-paced schedules, uncertain lighting scenarios, unexpected weather, and wedding day mishaps. You have to be creative, think on your feet, and work with people. You have to direct your subjects at certain points of the day, but also step back and capture the events that unfold in an authentic way. It can be physically exhausting, but ultimately so rewarding. I absolutely love it. (Shoutout to Christine Chang for teaching me so much 7 summers ago!)
Thank you for entrusting me to capture your special day, Matt and Lexus. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness ❤️
