Prototyping in Origami: Shirley's Outfit Picker
Over the last few months, I've familiarized myself with Sketch as a design tool. I love that it's so easily compatible with interaction design tools. Page-based InVision was very easy to grasp right off the bat but I've been wanting to create more complex and animated micro-interactions in my prototypes.
I was lucky enough to secure an invite to Facebook's developer conference F8 this year to participate in their hackathon, so I thought I'd learn to use Facebook's own prototyping tool, Origami.
Eight patches and a handful of boolean values later, I created this simple screen transition prototype based on one of my previous After Effects carousel projects. Here's the demo:
